An Adorable Story About Andrew

Andrew & Chase

Andrew & Chase

This piece was named after my middle son, Andrew.

And he is still as impish as ever but I do have a wonderful story to tell.

He was about four years old and learning to spell his name.
(This was right after the June Rosemont show in Chicago where I did a signing.)

He asked, “where did you go?” I replied, “I traveled far away.”
He asked, “Why?”
“To meet a lot of people,” I said and, looking as his questioning face, continued…
“Because they wanted me to write down my name for them.”

Since he knew how to spell that,
he quickly responded, “Oh, m… o… m.”

And I chuckled, “yup, mom.”  🙂
